text flow and punchlines

hey guys,,,,my name is porterhouse..quality beef here,lol...just here to feel the vibe and kick it a lil......im needing some feed back,,,i have a pretty extensive backround in rap,,lyrics mostly is what i have concentrated on,,im sorta new to the internet rap sites so here we go,,,was on another site where all the vets claimed to know how to interpert flows via text,,,i say impossible,,and i got killed for it,smh,,,you cannot interpert the next nmans flow via text,,,there are pauses for effect,,,stops and starts,,pronouncing word for a strong effect,,and truthfully only the person who wrote it knows how its meant to be spit,,i have yet to read anyones else rhyme flawlessly,,i always have to start over and over,,,my question is,,,,can you REALLY interpert flows on text?...i dont think so,,,maybe im wrong

next question,,,,do you guys feel if you have to explain your punchlines,.,,,,the line wasnt that hot to begin with,,or is it okay on web battles,,,u surely dont get to do that live in person,,,,thanx fellas

Welcome to the site.

And I'm all for explaining punchlines in text battles, aslong as you're not explaining every little thing and over doin it...but I feel it's necessary in some cases to leave an explanation for the voters if you don't think some will understand.
