i gotta say this is one of my favorite ED verses, and i thought 4 sure after i read his verse this battle was his.. & then i read burts verse & i was like.. damn this is on of my favorite Burt verses, or maybe im drunk.. i dunno.. either way im goin with ED here but i think Burt had a respectable performance, i guess the better wording sold me

this was a close battle...i liked some of what ED had, the closer was nice...

burt had some cool stuff in there, i liked the misdirection on the dale earnhardt shit, but the first line not rhymin really threw me off...little awkward in the wordin in parts of the verse as well...

ED didn't absolutely kill it, but he threw some nice ideas out, includin the is there any air in there line...

The flow right here is EXCELLENT. But, although it sounds hot, the substance isn't as outstanding as the flow

My vote goes to: Burt Blaze

I've seen a lot better from ED. His flow was definitely nice, but the majority of his lines lacked creativity and weren't structured as well as Burt's lines IMO. Honestly, I was surprised to see ED drop this verse because I usually like readin' his verses as they've got a high-quality flow AND hard-hitting punches...but this particular verse just didn't do it for me.

As far as Burt goes...quite frankly, I think this is one of your better verses. Besides the half-assed opener (lol), this verse was great in every aspect IMO. I see you spent some time incorporating multis into this one. But, even though you focused on multis, it doesn't seem as if you gave up on the actual substance of your lines...excellent verse overall. And, this is one of the few verses (from Round 1 AND Round 2) that actually looks like something you'd expect to see in a tourney battle

Overall, I think this was a clear cut victory for Burt...the only bar I felt in ED's verse was his closer, and I found Burt's verse was consistent with hits...and his Pee Wee bar was tight so he gets the vote from me.

Elevated's verse felt very flexy. It dissed Bigg's, but there wasn't much behind the lines, no real concept to most of them. The Pee-Wee line was the exception, which was ok. Burt started with a solid line, it was probably the stand out of the battle. Comin real was ok. Pee-Wee line was ok. I wasn't feeling the closer.

Burt was more consistent and had more to his concepts than Elevated, so he takes this.

It dissed Bigg's, but there wasn't much behind the lines, no real concept to most of them. The Pee-Wee line was the exception, which was ok. Burt started with a solid line, it was probably the stand out of the battle. Comin real was ok. Pee-Wee line was ok. I wasn't feeling the closer. Burt was more consistent and had more to his concepts than Elevated, so he takes this. v/ Burt Blaze
