i used to post on this site like 5 or 6 years ago.how is it that this forum could have gotten any worse?i remember that shit used to be pathetic. a bunch of toys asking eachother for bad advice on how to "get good at graffiti really fast". now it just seems dead and full of toys still. im not trying to hate on this shit or anything like that but damn how come this site doesnt have any real writers that know what their doing. i believe my username used to be chron on this site. if anyone from around 2000 or 2001 is still on here let me know whats up and what the fuck happened to this bitch. anyone else reading this that feels the need to reply go ahead and leave your comments. ill be checking back on this soon to read your thoughts on this shit. i dont even know why i started this thread. anyway, if i get a couple replies i just might post some flicks.

It's a long ass story and we could write a book, but the gist of it is the forum was down from about late 2004 until late 2006. Our hosting company didn't make backups and nuked our server and all its data, and so we got frustrated as fuck and didn't put the site back up until a few months ago.

So, it's going to take a while to build back up. Sometimes things change and they never go back to how they once were... we're hoping to recapture what was good back in the day to whatever extent we can. Other than that, we're just trying to move forward with the site... we changed the home page up recently to be a hip-hop news site where heads can submit and vote on articles they like.

I understand the your criticisms... give us a little time though and let's see how things develop. We're back to actively working on this site after taking some time off to get our shit together.

If you have the inclination, definitely post your stuff and help us make this thing grow up.

Yeah, there's a lot of truth to that. Yeah shit's slower here, but on the other boards I follow (for music, games, etc) everyone seems to have ebtter shit to do. A lot of it has to do with people being in school and shit...I know my ass never has a ton of time while college is goin.

Tbh, instead of sayin the shit sucks get some people you know to join or something...if everyone sucks show em how it's done.

yeah your name sounds real familiar too. im not gonna lie. i was a complete dumbass and a bigtime toy back then too.i was around 12 or 13 though so can you really blame me? looking back on it now it must have been 7 or 8 years since i discovered b-boys.com. the forum wasn't all that awesome back then either. it was mostly just a bunch of toys battling eachother with sketches and shit like that. but hey theres nothing wrong with that. i look at this site as being a site for begginers. it might sound wack to some of you but the more i think about it, i think thats kind of cool. it may not be a site with a bunch of dope writers but its nice that this site is a place that newbies can learn a few things and get into a subculture like graffiti. if it wasn't for b-boys i dont think that i would have ever gotten into graffiti and really graffiti is the one thing that makes me feel that im not just a robot doing the same thing every day like everyone else in this world.

i apoligize. i might have come off as an asshole. im just kind of sad to see a site that used to be active as a motherfucker have so little activity these days. honestly i'd like to help the site get back to where it once was at. the only problem is that there isnt enough people on here posting regularly to turn it back into what it was. im going to start posting here again and i hope this shit picks back up. i think now that i have more experience ill be able to help people out and get them where they want to be with their shit. i hope that i don't come off cocky saying that. i dont feel comfortable posting and of my stuff right now for legal reasons but i promise you that soon enough ill show you guys what im really about.anyway heres some flicks from my city(Detroit) to get the ball rolling. everyone can help out by posting flicks of your choice. they can be whatever you want. shit from your city, your favorite writers or crews, oldschool, new school, or whatever you think is cool. mods PM me if you'd like because i would really like to help you guys rebuild the graffiti section of this site and just the site in general. i feel like i owe you guys a lot for exposing me to this great art form. please PM me so that we can get this shit poppin again.thanks.
