6. Practise - This is the number 1 thing. I know its really clichéd, but it's true.
7. Take criticism constructively - Don't get mad if dudes say you're not very good, take the criticism and use it to make yourself better. Prove them wrong.

try to develop your own style & master it, make that shit your own, used for alternative ways to save things, like instead of saying im rolling on 20s say, my rims is below the drinking age, try to put a fresh spin even on the simplest things

This is complete bullshit, tons of rappers were brought up by other rappers.

I see your point, and lately I have been downloading any rapper's discography that someone mentions. So I have been listening to a ton of rap, but when I try to freestyle or flow to a beat, I find myself always coming back to what is comfortable to me.

Then I go and see battles online of people like Eminem, Jin, MC Natural, Juice, and the likes, and I just see how fucking far off I am. Now I know all their shit isn't off the top of the head, so...I don't really know where I was going with that.

write rhyme ridicoulously like a maniac! i remember watchin made on mtv where this kid wanted to become a freestyler so they hooked him up wit c rayz walts ,any way long story short this kid rap coach took him to see ghostface in the studio ghost encourage this kid to write then to demostrate the importance of writing ghost face pulled out a foot high worth of notebooks and writtens,i nearly laugh my ass when he did it was just kinda of random, any that was in the studio i wonder how much hes got at his house, personally i wouldnt be suprised if ghost face sleeps on his notebook for a pillow
