Standing over this hole, looking down below
The plugs been pulled, and the shit begins to flow
working in sanitary, has my sanity being tested
thinking of all that time, in college i invested
operating was my dream, but its gone for now
the economy stole my dream, and i dont know how
im trying to get it back, but three years have passed
my new job is dangerous, i just hope that i can last
i have seen my partner almost die, from invisible gasses
it made me see i need a change, and it didnt take glasses
the ecomony had me unemployed, for quite awhile
so when i got an offer, i just nodded with a smile
it never crossed my mind, that it was an invitation from death
thats why i am leaving, before i breathe my last breath
money was my motivation, but death has motivated me to leave
the chemicals i inhale, are making it even harder to breathe
i live my life on the edge, everyday i work
and in every single hole, my death might lurk
its scary to think, of the choices we make
the economy left me nothing, but risks to take
but is my life worth risking, over some money
if i said yes, would that make me a dummy
because truth be told, without money your nothing
no ones giving me stuff, just because im trusting
i didnt ask to take this risk, but im taking it now
i promised to support my family, and im keeping my vow
i would protect them with my life, if someone came with bad intentions
though i would prefer to turn them around, and give them new directions
no one wants to lose their life, over a job or a crime
but the reality of it is, that it happens all the time
i wake up ever morning, and stare death in the face
i tell him take his time, im not trying to win a race.

Pretty good here man, this is the most well rounded piece you've dropped yet...it's nice to see you're slowly elevating, that's what makes the readers wanna come back and read more from you.

I want to enter a battle but dont know the rules, been looking. im new to computers and having a hard time finding my way around the site. Thanks for the input again i always appreciate it, been reading some of the other threads people posted been leaving some input but struggle with the fact that its just my personal opinion and i sure as hell aint an expert to be giving out advice
