|  A breakup poem I Only Have Eyes I remember our eyes surrendering to sweet paralysis the first time our peripheries crossed paths So passionately indifferent we've grown for each other since the last time our tongues tied together in silent unison How alike we are in this foolish pride that binds us apart from one another We no longer border each other's solitude, rather we consume ourselves in seperation But I remember our eyes lingering to delirium, and though the image is slowly fading I still only have eyes for you

aw this is cute lol! Im bout to write a "I hate him" poem "Im a mad black woman" type shit lol... I digress...nice poem. short sweet to the point but has a lasting effect. love how it ended kinna bitter sweet.

Even though u date someone youre in a relationship with the best thing u learn no matter how the relationship plays out is more about yourself. And i like that the poem ended on a note where your hopeful for the future and happy about the growth that relationship provided. Some people are around for seasons *shoulder shrug*

| This was deep, and well written too...I also felt that bitter sweetness at the end aswell. apart from one another We no longer border each other's solitude, rather we consume ourselves in seperation ^^That was my favourite part of the poem.
