i'm actually tryna be the first MC to really meld hip-hop and dubstep, and do rap songs on dub beats but you get a synthetic bass, come up with your riff to play, then you wobble it in your LFOs with an oscillation glide, or a waveform...you can make the wobble square or rounded, and you can tinker with the different filters to get the exact sound you looking for...the big thing is the LFO, cuz that's where you get the wobble...usually you can put a glide effect (my suite has a legato switch that operates the glide) to smoothe it out...you can chose what meter you want it to wobble on, but when you start switchin the wobble (from a 1/4 triplet to a standard 1/8 for instance) you have to get into the more advanced sound editors...go on youtube and type 'how to make wobble bass', you'll find tons of instructional videos...glad to see i'm not the only hip-hop head stepping into the dub field...also, check youtube for the nirvana teen spirit dub remix by dual, and i'm not your toy by nero...both HOT tracks...
