If so, do you have any good mixing techniques that you use? OR do you recommend any FREE & EASY programs i can use for recording?

| I still use Cool Edit and have a few decent tweaks, I'm about to be out for work tho so I'll drop that ish tonight for ya. KOS

Yep use cool edit pro 2,its a good program,still getting used to mixing my vocals though so sometimes comes out good,other times shite. Peace |

| Here's 4 quick'n easy edits I've always used that makes my vocals sound good enough for my liking. The mic I have is a Shure SM58 so that alone helps my quality, but this should help ya out tho. In this order go to... effects > amplitude > hard limiting then effects > filters > graphic equalizer > spitclear then effects > filters > quick filter > loudness then effects > amplitude > normalize > 70% KOS
