Yamahas all day. Especially for mixing; you want near field. The Rockets are good too. (the ones with the yellow) But Yamahas are the best although they are a bit more expensive.
M Audios I had blew pretty easily.
So you get what you pay for. Sam Ash has deals online sometimes. Sign up for there mailing list and they will send you coupons like $60 off.

KRK Rokit G2's, I had the 6's but you dont need to go that big. 5's are plenty. They're perfect and will fuck yamahas in their asses all day. lol

yea they're good if your looking for a bassy sound. but for mixing i still say yamahas for the better highs.. helps clear the mix more professionally

thats why there's a control on the back of each KRK to turn the bass down... amd the 5's are not as bassy
