yeah, you need something to turn the table from phono to line level. so a mixer is good. my console has phono ins but i dont use em. i just come in from the dj mixer

first...english is fun and easy to learn, second...you first need a software sampler or a hardware sampler. I would suggest an MPC 500, or MPC 1000. That's gonna cost you alot, so if you cant scrape up enough money for that, I would go with Cool Edit Pro or some similar Digital Audio Workstation(DAW). If you ask enough people, someone should be able to send you the program third...you need to connect the turntable directly to the computer in this scenario. Now the turntable will need a preamp. If you direct connect and your DAW doesnt have a preamp you will need a mixer with a preamp so you can actually here the records forth.....you dont need a DJ mixer. You should be fine with any ol' mixer as long as it has preamps for the turntable. Also, I would look into a turntable that has a USB cable. That way, you won't have to worry about an amp or mixer. You will be able to record straight into your DAW. if any of this is confusing just hit me back andf I will try and break it down..

I just record my samples straight to my sampler with a lead from a mixer.

I have a stanton t.80 RCA table, plug it right into my M-audio mobile pre usb, then USB from that to computer. Works like a charm
